3 Friends

I am on my way to Paarl to see my 2 friends and need to push this feelings of failure and productivity out of my mind.  At least I am out and on the road today - its cold, but a clear day and the N1 to Paarl is a easy drive.

I have been at home between shoots, relaxing and getting the house hold stuff in order....mmmm.   Well I have been trying, the laziness attack has me feeling very groggy today.  My last away shoot was super amazing and now I am between shoots. On top of that its school holidays.  Being in between shoots has its pro's and its con's.  Time to rest and meet up with friends, but I tend to be unproductive and procrastinate!

My friends are truly special, we used to live in the same town and see each other often.  Now we take turns to visit in each others territory.  Michelle is the fun factory she just know how to have me and Elmari in stitches even while her caring nature drags out of us the things we do not say to other people.  Elmari has a loving heart and sometimes she lets us see her crazy, I love it!  I always look forward to meeting with them and today we have a lot to catch up on - weddings of kids and overseas trips, and of course there will be food.

Maybe one of them will have a good remedy for procrastination.   Or maybe the time out will just be what I need to get working again, there is always work to be done!

Shooting by the beach!                                 (May 2017)

Yesterday we sat watching the waves, Oh my!! What a beautiful scene.  

Yes darlings, this is all part of my job!  How blessed can you be!  (Jealous yet?)  Our holding area was set up in full view of False Bay’s waves, so I had one eye on the kids and one on the waves. 

Cold? Yes once the sun start setting behind the mountains on the other side of the bay the cold starts biting at noses and ears.  Beanies and jackets are pulled out and hot drinks consumed. 

Now I am heading back there.  (Yes!  I get to go there two days in a row!) I hope to see the blue bio-luminescent again. It is something to see!  Looks like someone switches on a neon pub light just as the waves crashes.  Who but God can think out such artistic beauty?

Thankfully we did not do a night shoot out here brrrr!!
